Thanks for the update Chris. Your interest in us, the customers, is unique and can only benefit you in the long run.
Let me wish you too, a great Christmas and prosperity serving your loyal customers with the excellence you have already proved.

      Dave,
Thank you! It’s truly an honor.

    Awesome video, Chris!

I agree with you on every point. Too many companies – especially in the sim community – are just out there to sell products. There is no respect for the customer, and the support is horrible. I think the way you have been interacting with the customers is great. Also, all of the bonus material that you include within your blogs and facebook is great. I’ve been simming for about 10 years, and even I have learned things from the blogs and videos.

The way you are running your business right now is superb. Keep it up!

    Oh, and Merry Christmas!

    Steve

      Steve,
Thanks for the wonderful comments. I hope to lead by example for other companies in flight simulation. Not saying all are bad, but we could
      definitely use an upgrade!

Nice video blog Chris, much appreciated. Don’t be too hard on yourself though, you’ve already accomplished a lot with AOA. And there is a lot of time to come up with cool new things, no rush. I’ll be checking in for more updates on the MD-11, as I’m a proud owner of both AOA DVD’s. Merry christmas from Norway – ENGM. ;-)

      Emil,
Great to get a greeting from Norway! The past is the past, and I’m really excited about the new direction we’re taking. When I say ‘We’ I mean we as a company, we as a community, altogether. Glad to have you aboard.

      Sunil,
Thanks for the wishes! Same goes to you and yours. I must say, I’m glad that I’ll be somewhere with snow for Christmas! KLAX would only be great if I could take my wife to Disneyland.

    Hi Chris!
First of all let me say that you’ve always been a step ahead in respect to other companies.
Your products are simply amazing,my best money spent on flight simulation so far!
And I’ve been doing this for 10 years now!
    Way to go Chris!
I can’t wait for your next release and all other goodies that will come in the future!

      David,
Thanks a lot. We really look forward to building our relationship in the future. I think things are looking quite bright!

Hi Chris and all @ AOA,

Let me congratulate you all for the work you have done to help people like me, who have transcended from tutorials in magazines (in my case PC Piolt) to your “Training” DVD’s which I think is a much better hands on approach, I myself only fly the 747-400 in FSX, but am looking forward to your MD11 DVD, I will then follow it to learn that plane as well, Good Video Blog buddy, I think its a good idea you have chosen to keep us friends (customers) upto date on the progress your company is making reguarding production, I do like the way you left us all wondering about what the changes are going to be at AOA next year, it sounds very interesting.

Anyway, Merry christmas to all AOA staff, yourself and family.

      Stuart,
Thanks for the wonderful comments. We are very thankful for our British friends. I enjoyed my stay over there the few times I went for flight sim shows. You guys are always so passionate about aviation.

Thanks for the great compliments. We can’t wait to share the news with all of you!

    Hi Chris,

What a refreshingly open and honest sitrep on how you want to conduct business with your customers. It puts most of the other well known publishers in the shade.

With the future for FS somewhat murky at the moment, following the MSFS retirement, your clear and concise explanation for future direction is a breath of fresh air.

PS – can’t wait for the January announcement!

    Best wishes
    Ken
