I love the Clock going backwards and forwards , Opps maybe I wasn’t supposed to notice that.
Good reinforcement of instruments and trim.
Someone wasn’t looking in the right place! A little bored there, Maurie?!

i thought i saw that as well … did a double take… sorry chris.. its my ADD lol
What is the area of the altimeter just above the 500/5000 ft mark. This marked by a crosshatched space in the lower third of the instrument.
I got it….TRIM…TRIM…TRIM
Nice work and info.
Thank you,
Tom
That is a great questions, I’ll look into it. I have a feeling it’s just a flag incase there’s a failure. Probably red behind that or something.
Tom, altimeters are fitted with a cross-hatched area that is displayed whenever the aircraft is below 10,000 feet MSL.
Good series.
I think you inadvertently mixed up your clock comparison at 2:40 – the small hand should be the hours, no? The “bigger” numbers i.e. 1000s = hours; 100s = minutes.
Yeah, the language got a bit mixed up. By small I meant skinny.
I really like the way how all these videos are made. Looks very professional.
Thanks, Michael!
Another excellent lesson Chris! BTW what is the opening song, its stuck in my head
THROTTLE ON!
Cheers
Alex
Hey Alex,
THROTTLE ON!
The opening song was done by a guy I met. He does work for such shows as CSI: NY, CSI: Miami and he even worked on Iron Man.
He was kind enough to do this original piece of music for Aviator90.
those videos are very very but very very gooood….
lots os virtual aviators that flews 747, airbuses,… don’t know the basics…
lots of congratulations
Thank you! Throttle on, Joao! Great to have you around buddy.
Hello Chris,
You really learn to appreciate the trim in a plane like this…but not having a heading bug is very uncomfortable. You won’t take this plane for a long trip ¿will you?
During the Cross Country training of Aviator90 we are going to take the plane up and not worry about heading at all
. Just takes focus when you don’t have a heading bug, that’s all.
