Big MD11 Training News

Summary

Aviator90

We have seen a lot of success with Aviator90 since the beginning of the month. How do we measure this success? We measure it with the level of interaction and sharing that is taking place. Of course, Aviator90 is for free, so it’s not like our success means driving a Ferrari or better yet, flying a Gulfstream!

All-in-all, we’re having a good time, and we really appreciate everyone sharing, getting involved, and even letting us know that you simply like it. AOA has the greatest fans in the world!

MD11 Announcement

The MD11 will be released on May 11th. This is soon, folks! Just think of it as May Day 11, MD11.

We’re very excited to announce this and put our money where our mouth is when it comes to a hard release date. We don’t have programming to worry about, just videos. We’re a company that can focus on getting things out in a timely manner, so, as an inner team, that is our mission now.

We also discuss in greater depth our stance on dropping the systems from the MD11 product. We hope to give you a better idea through what we said as to why we’re doing it, and what we plan to do.

Other than that, it was a very simple month, but one of the best ever for Angle of Attack.

The MD-11 is the ‘best product we’ve ever done’. The 747 one was pretty darned good… I’m really looking forward to seeing this one now. I plan to purchase the MD-11 and the AoA stuff the same day.

I love how you’re so open with the community – thanks for that. The Bonanza in the background is your plane? What pilot licenses do you hold? (Silly question maybe, but I was curious).

We are really trying to open up our relationship here, Andrew. I’m glad you’re noticing.

The Bonanza is owned by my father, and I fly it part time. I consider it mine in a way since I am the only one licensed and covered by insurance to fly it. It’s my baby.

We’re really excited about the MD11. We’ve come a long way since the 747.

Thanks for the comments!

I just wanted to give a big round of applause to you Chris & the team at AoA So many company’s in the flightsim community and aviation community for that matter just care about the bare essentials of just getting the product out there and then dont bother about the follow up and response of the customer.
Its great to see such a tight knit community such as AoA striving for the absolute best. In regards to the MD-11, i myself don’t own it as yet but just like Andrew said above i’m very keen to buy both products at once.
So in saying this again i say Well Done team, i must feel good to know your efforts are showing their fruit!

Thanks a ton, Chris!
I think we have the greatest fans in the world. Yeah, there are some great companies out there, but it seems like the people involved with us are just totally passionate about AOA. We’re a tight knit group of people that just want to fly safely and correctly.

Great to have you around! Throttle On!

Hi – I have the PMDG MD11X and think this a fantastic AC. Why have you decided to release this AC when there’s already a very good product on the market and why should i buy your version?

If there is a tutorial available i will definately give it a look but doubt whether i will buy it.

Peter. We are a training company, not an aircraft developer. We are doing training for the PMDG MD11. Thanks

Chris thanks for taking the time to make these videos. The fact that you care enough to pay attention to details is why I’m a customer. I have the 767 and 747 training dvds and will be buying the MD11. Thanks again Chris.
