MD-11 MCDU Tutorial

For those of you just getting started with the MD-11 or looking into our training, this is a brief (yet, lengthy) video showing the basics of the MCDU and how to set it up initially for flight.

This is only the start. Our full MD-11 Training has hours of in-depth operation of the aircraft, and the MCDU is a huge part of that operation.

    Thanks for the newest tutorial ! While I knew most of this there is still alot I need to know to understand about the MCDU and many basic functions/systems of the Big, complicaated MD-11. Your Manual/Guide helped s lot re connecting all your earlier teaching. I’ll be watching- since I came to PC in my 50s I do will with these extras. THANKS SO VERY MUCH,

    Another exceptional video! I used your B747-400 video to learn how to use the CDU/FMS unit and other systems on that aircraft and honestly couldn’t have done it without Angle of Attacks excellent video work…I can’t say thanks enough!!! Ray

    If this is the Free tutorial, Where is the one that comes with the package purchased?

      We decided that instead of doing a stand alone MCDU tutorial, we would do it detailed throughout the entire course so the material was more contextual. It’s often difficult to teach this FMS stuff without actually being in a situation where the functions are needed. So we took that route instead.
