Here at AOA we always say we’re improving our products constantly, but sometimes it’s difficult to see all the little changes we’re doing in the background.

There is a big one we’ve been working on finding a method for; full Mobile compatibility! Today, the first of that new initiative here at AOA has come to fruition.

We have completed getting the entire MD-11 Training area ready for mobile devices, including iPad, iPhones and Android devices. The entire website can be easily navigated with a mobile device, and you can even play the videos full screen.

This took some time to put together, but it’s finally here!

The biggest advantage we see to this is being able to watch the training while flying along with the MD-11 Training, as we include Flight Simulator files that you can install to load up the exact situation the lesson is in.

Pretty cool, right?

This is the first of ALL our training courses to get this makeover, and we think it’s quite nice!

Is this strictly an omline type of training? if it is downloadable for use offline on my BB Playbook I would be interested for the MD11 and the NG.

All of our products are downloadable and can be viewed offline. That part of our training was already fully compatible with these devices. So yes, you certainly can download each section for offline viewing.

        Chris,
Just would like to confirm your downloadable content is compatable with the BB Playbook? When looking to buy you site says “join”…..explain. How much space on a tablet will the MD11 and also the NGX take on a tablet? Is it possible to buy a dvd version? I wish to purchase, download and the view offline at my lesure – I travel lots for work so having it in the evening on a tablet would be great. Many thanks.

Do we need internet access while watching the videos on iPad? I would be looking at watching the videos offline while flying around the world while in real airplanes ;-) . Meaning, it would be nice, if we can download the videos and then watch’em on iPad.

      Hey Mark,
That was already a feature of our training. This update simply makes it possible to view the streaming videos on an iPad or other device. The downloadable videos for the MD-11 have been compatible all along with these devices. This final update we just did made everything FULLY compatible, including streaming versions. So yes, offline viewing is possible with our downloads. Hope this helps!

I don’t have an iPhone, iPad or a tablet yet because trying to get on WiFi is a big pain in the ass. It’s not easy to get WiFi anymore because everytime you try to get on, you have to be a part of some organization or something and you have to login. I don’t know how to do that.

If it wasen’t for that, I would of had an iPad a long time ago.

    Just letting you know.

Ah, no worries! Someday I guess.

You are missing out! Any outlet selling you one of these pocket computers will show you HOW TO LOGIN. You have to offer some other excuse…..
