I have a good friend and colleague that helps out here at Angle of Attack here and again. His name is Trevor Bair. We met back in 2006 when Angle of Attack ‘came out’ at the IFR convention in Denver. Trevor just happened to live in the area, was part of my virtual airline, and so he stopped by and said hi.

Since then he has helped out with the 747, MD11 and Aviator 90 projects.

What does this have to do with anything?

Trevor is a flight simulation enthusiast, has taken a few lessons, but never quite got his license. Sometimes more important things in life comes between someone and their wings. No harm, no foul.

The great thing is that my relationship with Trevor both as a fellow FS enthusiast and a business associate comes to one thing; we LOVE aviation. I wouldn’t dare say he loves it more than me, or I more than him. We both have a passion that is shared.

Tonight Trevor shared with me the link to a film (legally shared and hosted) that really touches my heart when it comes to aviation. In fact, I believe out of any movie out there, even more so than Top Gun (yes, blasphemy, I said it) shows how much we all love aviation. It puts it into words and images I’ve yet to see anything come close to.

Here it is. It’s over an hour long, but it’ll be one of the most amazing films you’ll ever watch.

There are several moments in this film that bring tears to my eyes. I hope it has an equally as great impact on you.
